The Paris Review
The Paris Review, founded in Paris in 1953, has long been America’s preeminent literary quarterly, dedicated to discovering the best new voices in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and visual art. The magazine has published early writings by John Ashbery, Jamaica Kincaid, V. S. Naipaul, Adrienne Rich, and Philip Roth. The Review’s renowned Writers at Work interview series has become an enduring landmark of world literature. The magazine also thrives in the digital space: the Review’s complete archive is available online, and the web presence of the Review expanded with The Paris Review Daily, which publishes arts and culture coverage and essays. Launched in 2017, The Paris Review Podcast gives voice to more than sixty-six years of writing and interviews. The Review has been headquartered in New York City since 1973.
