About the Author
F. Scott Fitzgerald (1896-1940) is considered one of the most influential American writers of the twentieth century. Best known for his masterpiece The Great Gatsby, he was equally hailed in the 1920s as one of America's premier short story writers. Among his other novels are Tender Is the Night and The Last Tycoon.
AMY LAURENS is an Australian author of fantasy fiction for all ages. She has never seen a fairy or travelled to Sanctuary (sadly), but she has definitely owned a Labrador almost exactly like Veve (though Amy's Labrador was yellow, not brown). And while she's definitely not a Road Master (pity), her kids are pretty sure she has eyes in the back of her head and a sixth sense for spotting trouble. She hasn't told anyone this, but actually she has two sets of eyes in the back of her head--one because she's a mum, and one because she's a teacher. You can find out more about Amy at her website, www.amylaurens.com.
