About the Author
Alexander Hamilton was a politician, Founding Father, and one of the most controversial figures in American history. He is the subject of numerous works, including Hamilton: The Musical, The Intimate Life of Alexander Hamilton, and the bestselling novel by Elizabeth Cobbs, The Hamilton Affair. In an 1804 duel with Aaron Burr, Hamilton was shot and suffered wounds that would kill him the next day.

Robert P. Watson, PhD, is an American historical scholar, author, professor, media commentator, and former candidate for a seat in the House of Representatives. He has written and edited over thirty-six books, including Affairs of State: The Untold History of Presidential Love, Sex, and Scandal. He has been interviewed by various media outlets for his political and historical commentary, most notably by USA Today, CNN, TIME magazine, and The New York Times. Watson currently teaches American Studies at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida.
