About the Author
SARA DENIZ AKANT received a BA from Wesleyan and an MFA from the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Her work has appeared in jubilat, Lana Turner, and The Claudius App. She received the John Logan Prize and awards from the Academy of American Poets, the James Merrill House, and Yaddo. Raised in New York, she currently lives in Iowa City.
