John Hamilton was born in Illinois and graduated summa cum laude from Eastern Illinois University with a BA in Sociology and later, an MA in Public Administration & Policy. A former journalist, he has also published a book on US foreign policy, but his passion has always been sci-fi fantasy. He currently lives in Florida, raising the last of his four daughters and running a hand-made jewelry business.
