I'm Micaela S. Benn, an independent author and experienced marketing professional who advocates for diversity in children’s books. I do this in three ways. First, through a marketing agency that I created to support self-published children’s book authors in branding and content management so that the reach their more readers and sell more books. The second way is by hosting The Children's Book Marketing Podcast, which is the podcast that makes marketing easier for children's book authors. Finally, to further this mission that I'm on to help households with children to diversify their bookshelves, I've curated a collection of books that my family and I love.
