After many years as a teacher, Michal Babay now spends her days writing stories, wrangling teenagers, and convincing her three dogs to stop barking. She was inspired to write I'm a Gluten-Sniffing Service Dog based on her daughter's struggle with celiac disease and the essential support her service dog provides. Michal lives in sunny Southern California with her family.
ELA SMIETANKA is an illustrator from Poland. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and works as a freelancer. Ela lives in Krakow with her husband, two sons, and a cat, and enjoys Nordic walking in the mountains.
