The Rev. Canon Scott Gunn is executive director of Forward Movement, a discipleship ministry of the Episcopal Church. He travels widely as preacher, speaker, and retreat leader. Author of several books, his most recent book is Easter Triumph, Easter Joy: Meditations for the Fifty Days of Eastertide. Prior to serving at Forward Movement, Scott was a parish priest in the Diocese of Rhode Island. Before that, he had a career in information technology. He lives in Cincinnati with his spouse, the Rev. Sherilyn Pearce.
Melody Wilson Shobe is an Episcopal priest who has served churches in Rhode Island and Texas. A passionate lover of the Bible, she hears God speaking in a new way every time she reads this extraordinary story. A graduate of Tufts University and the Virginia Theological Seminary, Melody serves as the associate for children and families at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Dallas, Texas. Melody, her husband, and their two daughters live in Dallas, where she spends her spare time reading stories, building forts, conquering playgrounds, baking cookies, and exploring nature.
