Reviews

Bravo Dean Petersen! This book pulled me into its world. The richness of the descriptions kept me reading well past my bedtime. --Tiffany Howell

Petersen has crafted a story which had me gripped from the very beginning, skillfully blending a small-town murder mystery with a ghost story. The characters were thoroughly relatable, the flashbacks and nightmares related to Tim's PTSD believable, and the plot is completely engrossing. The Burqa Cave is an excellent read, both for fans of murder mysteries as well as fans of horror and the supernatural. A solid 5 stars. --P.J. Blakey-Novis

The Burqa Cave weaves a haunting tale of desperate isolation, fear, and a budding trust that will stay with you after the last page has been read. --Jeana Byrne

If you enjoy horror stories that will keep you scared and turning the page, then The Burqa Cave is for you. I haven't been so enthralled with a story in a long time. Definitely a story worth reading more than once. A supernatural horror story that is mixed with the real-life horrors of war. --Jordan Walter
