Janae Thorne-Bird LMT NCTMB is a holistic health educator and practitioner specializing in Nutrition, Herbalogy, Yoga, Watsu/Waterdance, Nirvana and Thai Massage and other advanced forms of Bodywork. She is the owner/manager or her own healing center called Heartsong Healing Center in Holladay, Utah which is also her residence. For over twently years she has taught classes in Yoga, Kundalini/Tantric Energy Awakening, Holistic Healthcare, Herbalogy and Couples/Nirvana Massage. She is currently a Licensed Minister of her own non-denominational church calling it "The Church of the Gathering of What is Real," where she has a large internet congregation and also provides Sunday Celebration Services on Sunday at Heartsong located at 4749 S. Holladay Blvd., Holladay, Utah. Janae enjoys writing weekly Heartsong Newsletters for her internet congregation and has written several books concerning her life's path as a reformed fundamentalist Mormon. She was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and was introduced into a polygamous lifestyle by her former husband. Later she escaped this oppressive lifestyle, but was forced to leave her ten children behind in a wilderness retreat in the Montana Mountains. Today Janae (aka Jesse) counsels women trapped in polygamous and other oppressive relationships and is presently establishing a "safe-haven" for them to escape to.
