Description
In ACTIVE GODS, Michael J. Henry examines what it means to be both the parent and the son, and his poems reveal threads between these dual identities in small, specific moments: the shared experience of growing up, losing out, escaping, and then resolving to try again. With imagery that is both familiar and personal, ACTIVE GODS creates a world where memories bubble up to themselves known, however "crudely made."
