About the Author
Charlotte Guillain worked as a bookseller, an English teacher and an editor before becoming an author. She has written more than 100 books, both fiction and non-fiction. She always wanted to be a writer and her top tip is to read as much as you can.
Illustrator Dawn Beacon lives with her husband and son in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. During the winter months she loves snowboarding with her family at their local resorts, while summertime finds her biking and gardening. I am a big fan of fractured fairy tales and always did a unit on them with my 3rd graders, so I am always interested in new versions. This version, though, is too simple with nothing changed from the original fairy tale other than the main characters are dogs.
