The Dyno-Mite Dog Show

Louise Bonnett-Rampersaud was born in England and moved to the United States when she was six. She has lived in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. She received a journalism degree from the University of Maryland. Louise has written a number of children's books, including Polly Hopper's Pouch, illustrated by Lina Chesak; How Do You Sleep?, illustrated by Kristin Kest; Bubble & Squeak, illustrated by Susan Banta; and Never Ask a Bear, illustrated by Doris Barrette. The first two books in The Secret Knock Club series, The Dyno-Mite Dog Show and The Spring Un-Fair, were published in 2012. She currently lives in Maryland with her family.

Adam McHeffey is a musician and children's educator from Long Island, NY. Also an illustrator, he trained with Ronnie Herman at the Herman Agency, Inc. and subsequently wrote and illustrated Asiago, his first book. He graduated with a B.A. from SUNY Purchase College and currently lives in Greenwich, Connecticut.
