William Sutcliffe is the bestselling author of numerous books, including the international hit Are You Experienced?. The Wall, his first YA novel was been shortlisted for the Guardian Fiction Prize and Carnegie Medal. Circus of Thieves is his series for younger children. He currently lives in Edinburgh.
David Tazzyman is an internationally acclaimed award-winning illustrator. Born and raised in Leicester, David wanted to be an artist from the age of 5. He graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1993, then travelled around Asia with sketchbooks for 3 years, before moving to London in 1997. David worked as a commercial illustrator before falling into children's publishing in 2006, illustrating Andy Stanton's Mr Gum series which went on to win numerous awards, including the first Roald Dahl Funny Prize in 2008. He has illustrated many children's books since, including Eleanor's Eyebrows, You Can't Take An Elephant On The Bus, The Truth According to Arthur, The Pet, Donut Diaries, Circus Of Thieves and Einstein the Penguin. He now lives in Leicestershire with his partner and 3 children. David likes drawing a lot. He also likes football, cricket, music, holidays and biscuits. He still does not like celery.
