About the Author
Alex Belth is the author of Lasting Yankee Stadium Memories and Stepping Up, a critically acclaimed biography of Curt Flood, and a regular contributor to SportsIllustrated.com. After eight years spent working in the film industry for such notable filmmakers as Ken Burns, Woody Allen, and the Coen Brothers, Belth in 2002 founded BronxBanterBlog.com (now part of SNY TV's blog network), which has become one of the most popular New York Yankees sites on the Internet. A lifelong Yankees fan, he lives with his wife in the Bronx, New York.

Tim McCarver was a major league catcher from 1959 to 1980 and World Series MVP in 1964 with the St. Louis Cardinals. A six-time Emmy winner, McCarver was ranked by TV Guide as one of the top ten sportscasters of all-time in its all-century edition. His acclaimed "The Tim McCarver Show" is enjoying its seventh season on television after two years on national radio. He lives in Sarasota, Florida.

Jim Moskovitz is the creator and producer of Chevrolet's "The Tim McCarver Show." He has written and produced several long-running television series, prime-time specials, and sports books. He lives and works with his wife, Joyce, in Manhattan.

Danny Peary is the writer-researcher for "The Tim McCarver Show." This is his third book with McCarver. He lives in New York City and Sag Harbor, New York.
