About the Author

ANGELA SHELF MEDEARIS is a well-known reading consultant and the award-winning author of more than seventy books for children. She lives in Austin, Texas.

Daniel Minter was born in Ellaville, a small rural community in southern Georgia. He graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta and shortly afterwards began working as an illustrator, arts educator, painter, and sculptor. He resides in Maine.
