Finding My Way Books began in 2011 with three women passionate about inclusion. Building on our backgrounds in education, special education, Occupational Therapy, and photography, we create children's books that celebrate children with disabilities by sharing their stories. We dedicate all our book lists to promoting the inclusion of those marginalized in our communities. Finding My Way Books joins the movement to become a more inclusive nation by encouraging inclusive reading.
Finding My Way Books are nonfiction photographed picture books that show the joy that is realized in the meaningful inclusion of children and adults with disabilities and promote inclusion in communities and schools. They offer diversity in disability, race, gender, culture, and environment. Bilingual titles are available in Spanish, Swahili, and French.
