About the Author
MICHELLE MALKIN is a mother, wife, blogger, conservative syndicated columnist, and bestselling author of six books. She founded Internet start-ups Hot Air and Twitchy. Malkin has received numerous awards for her investigative journalism, including the Council on Governmental Ethics Laws (COGEL) national award for outstanding service for the cause of governmental ethics and leadership (1998), the Reed Irvine Accuracy in Media Award for Investigative Journalism (2006), the Heritage Foundation and Franklin Center for Government & Public Integrity's Breitbart Award for Excellence in Jour- nalism (2013), the Center for Immigration Studies' Eugene Katz Award for Excellence in the Coverage of Immigra- tion Award (2016), and the Manhattan Film Festival's Film Heals Award (2018). Pamela Almand, a former international 747 pilot for Delta Airlines, launched an unlikely second career after appearing in a national television spot for Tylenol in 1995. Several regional spots for Northwest Airlines followed, and she began narrating training and industry videos, built a professional recording studio, and launched the Captain's Voice. Since then, Pamela has provided voice-over for major corporate clients worldwide, including Microsoft, Disney, Canadian Realtors, the United Nations, Zurich, International Red Cross, and the hotels and casinos of Monte Carlo. She is a SAG/AFTRA voice actor and audiobook narrator with multiple awards and nominations from the Audio Publishers Association's Audie Awards, Society of Voice Arts and Sciences' Voice Arts Awards, and AudioFile magazine's Earphones Award. She lives in Atlantic Beach, Florida, with her husband, Amos.
