About the Author

Lew Paper is the author of five previous books, including John F. Kennedy: The Promise and the Performance, Brandeis: An Intimate Biography, and Empire: William S. Paley and the Making of CBS. Lew's articles and book reviews have appeared in the Washington Post, the New Republic, the American Scholar, and other publications. Lew is a former adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center and a former teaching fellow in government at Harvard College. You can contact Lew at LewPaper.com.

Robertson Dean has played leading roles on and off Broadway and at dozens of regional theaters throughout the country. He has a BA from Tufts University and an MFA from Yale.
