About the Author
Dr. Ramzy Baroud is a Palestinian-American journalist and the Editor of The Palestine Chronicle. He is the author of five books. His latest is These Chains Will Be Broken: Palestinian Stories of Struggle and Defiance in Israeli Prisons (Clarity Press). His books include The Last Earth: A Palestinian Story and My Father Was A Freedom Fighter: Gaza's Untold Story. Baroud is a Non-resident Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Islam and Global Affairs (CIGA) and also at the Afro-Middle East Center (AMEC). He lives in Seattle, WA.
Richard Falk is professor emeritus of international law at Princeton University, the author of over twenty books and a specialist on the role of international law in global politics. The United Nations Human Rights Council appointed Falk as a United Nations special rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Palestine in 2008.
Foreword by Khalida Jarrar, a Palestinian member of the Palestinian Legislative Council. She is also the Palestinian representative on the Council of Europe and is currently head of the Prisoners Committee of the PLC.
