Nick Walker is a mild-mannered psychology professor, transdisciplinary scholar, and aikido teacher. She's co-edited three previous volumes of Spoon Knife and contributed stories to four. Her nonfiction work includes the book Neuroqueer Heresies and a recent chapter in the Routledge Handbook of Creative Futures. Together with fellow writer Andrew M. Reichart and artist Mike Bennewitz, she's co-creator of the urban fantasy webcomic Weird Luck (weirdluck.net).
