Pat McCaw, MD, is a family practice physician passionate about using books to help children with emotional and health issues. She teaches classes on how to use picture books in the classroom and writes online educational lessons on science and physiology.
Beth Hughes is an artist who loves animals and nature and bright colours. She enjoys playing around with colours and shapes and most of all, telling great stories. She has studied at Ringling College of Art and Design, as well as Sheridan College. In the past she has done character design, visual development and illustration work, and is now working as a freelance illustrator.
