Giorgo Cheda has dedicated most of his life to the Swiss-Italian diaspora, and thanks to his work, dozens of family stories have not been forgotten. Throughout his books, Cheda has recounted the lives of hundreds of emigrants who reached the other side of the world to manage land that in Ticino they could never dream of owning, distant places linked to a chapter of history too often forgotten by history texts.
