About the Author

When author and historian Gregory P. Wilson first learned of his Quaker ancestor, Jonathan Roberts, he wrote a biography about the controversial figure. The resulting work won the Ross Netherton Achievement Award from the Fairfax County History Commission. Wilson followed it up with a biography about a Confederate soldier who crossed paths with Roberts in 1863 - John Singleton Mosby. That work won the Nan Netherton Achievement Award from the Fairfax County History Commission. Wilson returns to his ancestor's storied life with The Adventures of Jonathan Roberts.

Wilson received his bachelor's degree in history and politics and government from Ohio Wesleyan University. He works as a consultant and board member from his home in Great Falls, Virginia.
