About the Author
Lou is a widower with two grown sons and is a grandfather to Emily Grace and Ethan Scott. Lou is a Professional Engineer licensed in the States of New York and New Jersey and proficient in the areas of civil and transportation engineering. He has well over four decades of upper management experience as a President, Executive VP, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Engineer in the private sector, and as a Director of Engineering and Traffic Safety, and Director of Public Works in the public sector. In 2011 he took a sabbatical from full-time engineering and while working a lesser schedule commenced writing about sports, his life experiences, thankfulness of family and friends, and even venturing into a soft mystery with qualms of conscience. His five published works Athlete for Hire, Bless Me Father and his historical fiction trilogy in the sports genre: - "8" Centerfield in New York, 1951-1957 - Dopey Bastid, and - FRAMILY (friends considered family)
