About the Author
Susan Knapp is the author of The Album, a biography/memoir set in 1927 New England that chronicles the childhood sexual abuse of the author's mother, and, writing as S. Z. Knapp, the first two volumes of a projected vampire trilogy: Red Roses, Bloody Snow and Hot Jazz, Cold Blood. (Volume three expected off press in 2018/19.) Living in the theater-rich town of Ashland, Oregon, she has also authored a one-act play, "The Real Story" and, in a complete departure from form, is working on an illustrated fable (working title "The Raven and Heron"). When not hunched over a keyboard, she spends summers kayaking on the areas many lakes and enjoying the wildlife.
