About the Author
KATHRYN MARIS was born in New York and educated at Columbia University and Boston University. Her poems have appeared in American Poet, Fence, Ploughshares, and Poetry. Currently she is an editor at Poetry London magazine, and a lecturer in creative writing at Morley College in south London. She divides her time between London and New York City. She has held two poetry fellowships at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown and residencies at both Yaddo and the Ragdale Foundation. Her poems have appeared in magazines such as American Poet, Fence, Ploughshares, and Poetry, and in New Voices: University and College Prizes, an anthology edited by Heather McHugh. In addition, she regularly publishes essays and book reviews in British and American periodicals. Currently she is an editor at Poetry London magazine, and a lecturer in creative writing at Morley College in south London. She divides her time between London and New York City.
