Reviews

"Empathetic and engaging, the young adult novel The Truth About Everything follows a teenager in pursuit of her own truths--and her own path forward." --Foreword Reviews

"Achingly vulnerable, Lark deserves the whole world delivered gently in layers that help her unpack truth from indoctrination. Readers will be relieved to see her find some key folks who will support and encourage her movement toward agency and identity outside of her father's control." --The Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books

"Farr excellently portrays Lark's emotional struggles in a genuine way. Readers will be rooting for Lark to question her upbringing while being empathetic to her conflicting emotions about what she has been raised to believe. . . .A unique tale of coming of age in an anti-government household. A first purchase for young adult collections where realistic fiction is in demand." --School Library Journal

"An engrossing, poignant tale of a difficult journey." --Kirkus Reviews

"Farr's uncomplicated prose complements a fast-paced plot with intense interpersonal stakes, as Lark evolves from a timid if stubborn recluse into a credibly resolute protagonist in this hopeful tale." --Publishers Weekly
