Reviews
"A personal account of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that is penetrating, incisive and fierce. Each page is filled with fresh observations that expose the reader to the emotions and passions of both Israelis and Palestinians. Though writing about the painful reality of terrorism, occupation and its concomitant excesses, Golan-Agnon's book is ultimately hopeful, embracing a vision of social justice and equality for all." --Rabbi David Forman, founding chair of Rabbis for Human Rights

"This is an extremely important book that documents the emergence of a compassionate feminist and human rights activist on the Israeli left. . . . This book is full of clarity, honest reflection, at once personal and politically trenchant, producing a moving and rare example of clear-sighted tenacity in the face of rampant injustice." --Judith Butler
