Sharkie Zartman, BS, MS, is the host of the Health Life Radio show Sharkie's PEP Talk. On the show, she talks to guests around the world who inspire listeners to take charge of their lives and their health. A former All-American volleyball player who competed at UCLA and on the U.S. Women's National Volleyball Team, Zartman is an award-winning coach at the college and club levels. She also teaches health, fitness, and yoga as a community college professor. Zartman has written five books, including Youth Volleyball, Guide for Coaches and Parents, and Shark Scene, Getting in Touch with Your Inner Shark. She has two grown daughters and lives with her husband in Hermosa Beach, Calif.
