About the Author
James R. D. Hilton is a lifelong student of science fiction, his mind having been warped at a tender young age by the Space channel, not to mention the works of Douglas Adams, Arthur C. Clarke, Robert Heinlein, and Kurt Vonnegut. He majored in Communications and Media at Providence University College, studied Television Writing and Producing at Humber College, and once took a creative writing class, but was suspended for excessive doodling. The language of cinema is his greatest passion, and his enthusiasm for the films he grew up with shapes the stories he writes. His previous credits include multiple short stories published in Pulp Kings magazine, where the Known Universe was born. He resides somewhere in his home province of Alberta, where he may occasionally be spotted outside smoking his pipe and petting stray cats.
