About the Author
Brian Kindall is the author of books for both adults and young readers. He knows that the best books are those joining the finest qualities of literature with large doses of adventure. To this end, he crafts his stories with vivid, evocative writing, peopling them with one-of-a-kind characters that will pleasantly haunt the reader well after the book is finished. He draws his inspiration from the classics and popular genres alike, and from the magic he senses lying beneath the surface of life. He does his best to tap this magic and mystery for his novels. In the years in which he was learning to write, Brian worked such adventurous jobs as whitewater raft guide, and as packer for a backcountry hunting camp - experiences which have worked their way into his books. When he's not busy at his desk, you can find him hiking and skiing in the mountains of Central Idaho where he lives with his wife and three kids on the shores of Payette Lake.
Reviews

"Threads of satire are skillfully woven into this tapestry of humor and pathos, magical realism, and historical fact. Brian Kindall's splendid allegorical odyssey, Delivering Virtue, features ne'er-do-well wannabe-poet Didier Rain, chosen to transport the cherubic infant Virtue to her intended groom, Nehi, prophet of a Mormon splinter sect known as the Church of the Restructured Truth." - Foreword Clarion Reviews, Literary Fiction Book of the Year Finalist

"This provocative, wholly satisfying novel is a Western adventure told in the language of magic realism. It skillfully blends historical insights, moments of fantastical humor, stories of travel through exotic climes, and references to European poetry, Homeric mythology, and even Oedipal psychology." - Blue Ink Reviews

"If I had to summarize what I think about this book, I would say it's "The Odyssey" of the wild west with a swashbuckling dandy narrating a journey of prophecy and magical realism. Add a pile of depraved characters and stir.I couldn't put it down. Definite 5 stars." - Allie's Opinions
