An Imperfect Lover: Poems and Watercolors
Description
"Orsini has chosen an apt title for her books,"observes Robert Phillips in his foreword to the book, "because the world of her imagination contains much imperfection--imperfect family life, ...imperfect marriages, imperfect health." As a poet, Orsini is unsentimental and precise. As an illustrator she is both whimsical and ironic. In both media, she is unflinching in her vision of the redemptive powers of art.
