(Author)
Description
Nestled in her beloved family camp in the Adirondack Mountains, Christine Wright by chance happens upon news that threatens to tear open her picture-perfect life, and finally lay bare a secret she has guarded for decades. Can she face down her past to emerge free from her human frailty? Adirondack August is Kay Benedict Sgarlata's debut work of women's fiction that explores how one fleeting indiscretion can linger perilously in a good woman's heart and shape the course of her spiritual journey through a lifetime. Moving, reflective and ultimately uplifting, Adirondack August casts a searching eye on the transgressions that haunt us all, and the healing that may emerge if our sins are brought into light.
