Reviews
Praise for Olympig!

"A humorous romp."--Publishers Weekly

"Jamieson's acrylic illustrations create a cast of characters that express themselves clearly; there is a quality of comic melodrama to the sequence of Boomer's trials. Asides in amusing speech balloons add to the fun."--Children's Literature

"Jamieson snatches moral victory from the jaws of athletic defeat with warmth, satirical wit, and old-fashioned silliness. Her drawings and formats are wonderfully varied, colorful, and bursting with personality. Subtle, funny commentaries will be appreciated by slightly older readers, stretching Olympig's appeal."--School Library Journal

"Visually, Roller Girl is very appealing--think Lynn Johnston with a modern edge--but it's the storytelling that really sets this graphic novel apart...A great choice for tween girls, whether they're remaking themselves, renegotiating friendships or just weathering the stormy seas of early adolescence."--Chicago Tribune
