Winston Smith Books is a family owned independent brick-and-mortar general subject bookstore located in Downtown Auburn, California (933 Lincoln Way), in the heart of the Gold Country.  Our physical store stocks well over 40,000 quality used books on two floors, with some new inventory to keep certain titles moving while we look for used copies.  We would love for you to visit our physical shop to enjoy the irreplaceable physical browsing experience at our beautiful store.  Of course, we would also love for you to shop on this site.  Either way, we look forward to helping you find the literary treasures you are seeking.
