The author, Virginia Alice, has been a writer since learning to write in the first grade. In addition to keeping diaries, writing letters to family and friends, and writing book reports for school, Virg - as she is known to her friends - has not only written articles for family, community, and church newsletters, but has also published her own newsletters for family and small businesses.
The oldest of eight children and born to farming parents in deep, south Texas, Virginia Alice went to trade school right after high school. She received a certificate of completion in bookkeeping just before before computers replaced typewriters in the office. Although her professional career has been mostly in clerical/secretarial administration with a focus in data entry, her personal time has been filled with writing including designing her own greeting cards and learning all she can about social media and its many platforms.
Virg loves spending time with her family and friends; going to the movies; hiking; playing cards and board games; bowling; power walking; having spa days; doing yoga and other fitness regimes; crafts like stain-glass and sewing lap blankets; and, of course, inspiring others.
