I am an Assistant Professor of Public Management at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy at the University at Albany, SUNY. My recommendations will generally focus on academic and non-fiction works on government and policy, books on research methods, and science fiction novels. Any proceeds of purchases from my lists go to a rotating list of Albany arts and charities. Until June 2021, proceeds from purchases of books in my list will go to the Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany (www.capitalrep.org), a community theatre company that, despite being an important cultural institution, has been hit hard by the pandemic.
