Welcome to Socialight Society! Conveniently located in the Lansing Mall, we are an independent Bookshop that celebrates Black women and Black literature. We curate classic, contemporary, and children’s titles predominantly authored by Black women, who often lack representation in traditional bookstores. Black woman-owned.

As a reminder, Socialight Society will receive credit for ANY books you purchase on Bookshop.org (even if it's not listed on our store page) as long as you see our logo at the top!
