Hi, I'm Andy. I publish reality blurred, your guide to the world of reality television and unscripted entertainment, from soapy reality shows to strategic competitions to artful documentary series. I'm member of the Television Critics Association who's been writing about reality TV since 1999, and writing and reading ever since I realized those things could be interesting (about ninth grade, when I discovered journalism).

 

What do books and reality TV have to do with each other? For starters, many documentaries, documentary series, and even reality shows get their start as nonfiction books. And there have been great books written about the genre, too! I like to recommend great reality television—and also great books, and doing so on Bookshop helps to support independent bookstores, and reality blurred, an independent publication.
