Reading Rainbow Live

Reading Rainbow Live is committed to featuring an inclusive selection of books that represent diverse authors, illustrators, main characters, subjects, and settings. Our mission is to engage readers to learn about the world around them and to allow them to see themselves in books. Our goal is to share and promote books that reflect the lives of all young people.

Books will be recommended by a diverse and inclusive national panel of librarians, educators, childhood literacy experts, parents, and children, and will be chosen from lists approved by organizations as such: ALA (American Library Association), We Need Diverse Books, A Mighty Girl, The Brown Bookshelf, Disability in Kidlit, and the Schneider Family Book Award.
