My name is Olga and I was born a bibliophile. I love curating lists of cookbooks, food and travel books, history and other types of nonfiction.

 

A little about myself. I am a Ukrainian Greek food writer, recipe developer, and researcher whose work focuses on preserving and celebrating the diversity of Ukrainian culinary heritage. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a master's degree in history. My specializations include sourdough baking, fermentation, Slavic, Balkan, and Central Asian cuisines. You can find her recipes in the New York Times, Bake from Scratch, Food52, Serious Eats, cookbooks, and more. I write the newsletter Local Bread Baker on Substack.
