Next Chapter Books offers customers affordable book buying through a curated selection of both new and contemporary secondhand reads (this is not your rare and antiquated used bookshop!) We are currently popping up at the historic Alger Theater in Detroit, MI, with a diverse collection highlighting the work of local and historically underrepresented authors. We're excited to grow into a space that allows us to engage with neighbors through programming: story time, after-school read-a-loud, teen book reviews, author talks, book clubs, and more. We're working toward opening a permanent space in Detroit, listening to what our community wants to see there.
