Missouri River Literary Booklist
Missouri River Literary Times was created to focus on the richness of historical and contemporary literary works from authors and storylines surrounding towns along and beyond the Missouri River. The Missouri River is the longest river in North America, stretching for 2,341 miles from its source in the Rocky Mountains of Montana to its confluence with the Mississippi River in St. Louis, Missouri. Our mission is to explore and share through various literary genres the people, landscapes, voices, creativity, and art in an effort to pass the cultural heritage from one generation to another.
Every year our mission is to host a literary fun festival from the larger cities that sprung from the Missouri River. This year we hope you can join us in Omaha, Nebraska as we share historical works and listen to contemporary authors. The event will kick off with a 5K Run-to-Read and 1K fu- run to promote healthy living and embracing a literary lifestyle.
Join us for some Summer Reading Fun!
Purchasing books here support authors writing about lifestyle, culture, mystic, landscapes, history and more around Missouri River cities.
