Michael Chesley Johnson is an author, artist and workshop instructor.  Besides writing for major art magazines such as PleinAir, Artist's Magazine, Pastel Journal, Watercolor Artist, Southwest Art and American Artist, he is the author of Beautiful Landscape Painting Outdoors: Mastering Plein Air.  As a science fiction writer, he is the author of many short stories and Dream Sector, which he wrote under the name of Mac Braxton.
