Author of How to Be Eaten, a novel that reimagines classic fairy tale characters as modern women in group therapy for trauma, and Girls of a Certain Age, a short story collection about the complexities of modern girl and womanhood. Maria Adelmann’s work has been published by Tin House, n+1, The Threepenny Review, Indiana Review, Epoch, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, and others. She earned her MFA at The University Virginia.
