Lori Degman is the author of the award-winning  picture books: 1 Zany Zoo, Cock-a-Doodle Oops, and Just Read, as well as Norbert’s Big Dream, Like a Girl, and Travel Guide For Monsters.  She was a teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and has a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education.  Lori enjoys presenting at schools, festivals and writing conferences.  She lives with her family in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois.
