I received my first journal at age 7. It was purple and had a unicorn on the cover. I filled those pages and liked it so much that I just kept going, filling thousands more pages as the years passed by. When I was 13, I wrote my first poem, and life has never been the same since.
My first poem was published when I was a junior in high school, my first essay when I was a senior. I have since been featured in The Rusty Nail Literary Magazine (2012), Every Night Erotica (2012), Wilde Magazine (2012), and OUT / CAST Literary Magazine (2018). I was a Moscow, Idaho Poet Laureate contender in 2018 and featured in two local art displays: What does feminism mean to you? and Inflation Celebration.
I self-published my first poetry anthology, variance: experimental poetry in February of 2014, with a second edition released in November of 2017. My second self-published anthology, out loud: we write it, was released in January of 2019.
Current projects include two novels, a novella, and a short story, as well as whatever poems come to me and my blog at little firefly, big forest.
