Leapfrog Press
Leapfrog Press was created to search out and publish books that tell a strong story. Leapfrog began its life in Wellfleet, Mass., at the outer end of Cape Cod, in 1993. Our list is eclectic and includes quality fiction, poetry, and nonfiction; books that are described by the large commercial publishers as midlist, and which we regard as the heart and soul of literature.
"The pulse of what's hot in the book publishing world." - Boston Globe
We're always on the lookout for new talent. We see ourselves as a home to new works by accomplished writers and works by those just starting out. Our books includes paperback originals of adult and middle-grade fiction and nonfiction. What we promise is writing that expands our webs of connection with other humans and the natural world; books that illuminate our complexities; tough, unsentimental books about our difficult and sometimes insanely funny choices in life and how we make them.
