Welcome to Kramers! Our doors first opened amidst the Bicentennial celebrations of 1976 as DC’s first bookstore-café. We are committed to providing our wide-ranging patrons the latest best sellers and timeless classics. In addition to our one-of-a-kind indie bookstore, we also have a full-service bar and restaurant where we host our author events. From tourists to neighbors to college students to politicians, there is something for everyone at Kramers!
